Thursday
We
got back our common test results today and I was really shocked by the marks
that I’ve gotten for it. I didn’t expect to go beyond 80 or even reach for it! This
is because I did not really study for the test and was just trying my luck as
much as possible. I was really satisfied with my results but I know that I could
do better than this thus I would stop being so lazy and really work hard for my
AC Circuit examinations when I’m back in Singapore.
Since
a group of us had already planned to go out from campus after school to go
shopping, we decided to take the tuk-tuk in groups to Hong Guang street at late
afternoon. Upon reaching, we began walking around the streets to explore the
stores one by one. We stopped by a donut shop where Weijie offered me a donut
but none of us were sure what flavor it was. In curiosity, I took a bite and
found out that the donut has coffee in it. And that is when I got really
terrified. This is because I am allergic to coffee and if I were to consume it,
I will have a really terrible upset stomach. True enough, I was having a suffering
time throughout the shopping journey. While the rest would be walking around
the shops to look around, I will be one sitting by the store they are in like a
beggar. But then everyone was really concern for me and my health. Thankfully I
didn’t consume too much caffeine and could still withstand the pain I felt at
my stomach area.
We
walked around a few more stores until exhaustion began to set in to our legs
and hunger setting in to our stomach. We then took the tuk-tuk to the Walmart
area again to have our late lunch cum early dinner at Subway. I was not really
in the mood to eat anything due to my aching stomach condition but everyone
persuade me to eat and I took a couple of bites before I declare that I am
full. After eating, half of us went to the arcade to play games while half of
us went to the Walmart to do some snack shopping. But then again, most of the
time I was just sitting on the floor as they look around the shelves at the
snacks section. When we finally got back to the dorm, I was told that I totally
knocked out while Huiting and Rose were doing part of their report. By the next
morning, I felt that my stomach was back to its normal health.
