Upon
waking up the next morning was a chore as I was feeling really fatigue.
Nonetheless, we had to continue another bus journey back to the UESTC campus.
But the journey was not a smooth one. While on our way back, we ended up being
stranded at the Jiu Zhai Gou area due to a sudden landslide at the initial
route that we wanted to take. Thus the driver had to find an alternative route
to the way back to the campus. It was really a tiring journey as I kept on falling
asleep. However a friend of mine who was sitting beside me began to feel motion
sickness since the journey was really very bumpy and unstable. I didn’t suffer
any because I was dead asleep during the whole duration of the bumpy roads. To
be honest I felt really lucky that I was asleep then.
I
then tried to take care of my friend, Huiting who was on the verge of vomiting
since she was feeling nauseous. I was really worried and panic as it was the
first time that I felt really helpless that I was not able to help me friend at
all. But the teacher in-charge, Mr Teh was really caring and would check on her
if she was feeling any better. After many delays, we finally reached the campus
at 9pm plus where all of us went back to the dorm and I was dead asleep due to
extreme exhaustion.
