Friday
Today we had our very first lesson at 9am. It was really a chore for me to wake up as early as 6.30am in the morning to get ready for class because the temperature at night and early morning is really very cooling which is the best time to sleep in. Another problem was that bathing in such cold temperatures is just a torture to my body. Even bathing in hot water is not fruitful as I can only sense the warmth for a short while before the sharp chills penetrate through my body again. We, the girls, were late for class due to miscommunication and got 'lecture/scolded' by Mr Teh. But then after that, everything is just back as per normal.
After class, we went to eat brunch at the usual halal stall at the business district and went back to the girls' dorm, where I studied for a while to kill my boredom and time. After much lazing around and studying, I met up with some of the girls, Aisyah, Raidah, Huiting and some other girls to get a birthday cake for Rose Marie that we have ordered the day before. Upon getting the cake, all of the girls and some of the guys that we know gathered at the entrance of the girl's dorm and celebrated her birthday. After that, we went out to the market, ate our dinner and got back to the dorm. From then, we went into one of the girl's room and played games and chatted through the night until 5am the next day.
