Day Eleven. Week Two.
Friday
In the early morning, we rushed to the bus so that we can start on our journey to Jiu Zhai Gou since we were told that there would be many people going there at this time and that it will be very crowded. Upon reaching the place and waiting for our tickets to go in the premises, we had to wait for a moment as we were swarmed by a large amount of people who were already at Jiu Zhai Gou. Once we were given the entrance ticket, we began to enter Jiu Zhai Gou. After a few minutes of walking distance to the nearest bus station, we board up a free shuttle bus to which ever destination that it would bring us to. I realize how much the people here in China love to push and could really push us too! At first I was really annoyed by it but then I remembered about the seminar we had before going for this OIP trip where we were warned about how people here could push when lining up for example a queue.

We were then greeted by a lot of scenic scenes of the best natural beauty Earth has got to offer. The water looked really clean and pure. One of my most favorite scenes was the waterfall. However, I was not able to fully enjoy myself fully there since there is just too crowded there and I was always inconsiderately being pushed around by people. And every time we would like to take a photo of me with the backdrop, we would always been reprimanded and pushed aside so that they could have a full nice photo with the background. I got tired of trying to take a photo of myself with the scenery at the back and would only take photos of the stunning background.

After much walking up and down the pathways and boarding the bus, we reached to a resting area where buffets and restaurants were found. Tired, we, Aisyah, Raidah, Dan, Shinyi, Huiting and I, decided to get into a Muslim Restaurant to have our lunch since we were all famished.  At first we ordered about 3 dishes. The ones that I could remember were; egg tomato dish, roasted duck and yak meat. The food there was seriously so delicious that I had to refill my bowl with rice twice. For my whole 2 weeks in China, I finally got to taste foods that taste seriously and really like food! It was to the point that I was smiling to myself and was so happy during the whole duration of lunch. Once we were done, Faiz came along feeling hungry and we decided to have another round with him. This time we ate yak meat, salted stir fried beef and a chicken dish. In totally, I ate 3 full bowls of rice for lunch since the food is indeed delicious. After we are done, we decided to walk around the souvenir shop areas leisurely thinking of what souvenirs to buy. Once that is done, we went back to the hotel to have dinner and had another games session at one of the rooms.
